Insects have a type of immune response that involves insect protein recognition of microbial saccarides. Does anyone know more about these proteins? Especially would be interested to know if the interactions are somehow selective (besides the obvious, namely, they wouldn't recognize all saccerides) Thanks in advance, Tim
