[Glycosci] uronic acid/total sugar ratio

Hi,

 

I work with small amounts of plant tissues and want to normalize amounts of
uronic acid in my samples per something other then weight. I measure total
sugar with phenol/sulfuric acid assay.  Can I normalize the amount of uronic
acid per nm total sugar?
