A general query, from a non-immunologist, so please forgive the
ignorance it betrays.
We are becoming interested in the role of urinary Class I in the
communincation of sensory infomration, and specifically in the role of
proteolysis in degradation of same (with subsequent release of
signal).
Does anyone know of good sources of soluble ClassI (mouse) - I hear
anecdotally of transgenic animals that overproduce same. Also, are there
sources of blotting or ELISA-worthy antibodies that could be used
to quantitate degradation. I would be interested in collaborating with
anyone who has these tools, or who is interested in this area.
