I am currently investigating the role of macrophages in vascular disease. I
can successfully identify these cells in paraffin embedded tissue sections
using anti-CD68 or HAM 56 monoclonal antibodies. I now wish to find a
subpopulation that are "activated". I am currently using anti-HLA-DR alpha
chain monoclonals as an indicator but would like to know if there was
anything better. I have considered using indirect markers such as anti-IL1,
but would prefer something more tangible. Has anyone used anti CD25?
