Is there anyone working on T-suppressor cells? Specifically, the patient is a
43-year old female with normal levels of T-helper(T-4), but severely depressed
T-suppressor (T-8) levels.
other tests revealed: Normal
anti-nuclear antibody 1:20 1:40
anti-DNA 1:10 1:10
anti-thyroglobulin 1:20 1:20
anti-microsomal 1:20 1:20
anti-striated muscle 1:100 1:20 (abnormal)
total immune complex 81.0 0-50 ug eq/ml (abnormal)
rheumatoid factor 17.0 20 IU/ml
IgG Immune complex 15 0-20 ug eq/ml
IgM Immune complex 41 0-15 ug eq/ml (abnormal)
IgA Immune complex 25 0-10 ug eq/ml (abnormal)
IgG Myelin Basic protein 20 100 ELISA
IgM Myelin basic protein 100 50 ELISA (abnormal)
IgA Myelin basic protein 20 20 ELISA
IgG Silicone antibody 20 10 ELISA (abnormal)
IgA Silicone antibody 10 10 ELISA
IgM Silicone antibody 20 10 ELISA (abnormal)
IgE Silicone antibody 10 10 Elisa
Also various fungal IgG antibodies are elevated (6400 versus 01-1600 reference
range), but IgE within normal range (0-100).
Any thoughts, suggestions, or insights are appreciated.
