Inhibiting phagocytosis

Brefeldin A has been reported to prevent endocytosis, so it should be
able to inhibit phagocytosis by the macrophages.  However, it has other,
rather dramatic, cellular effects (fusion of Golgi and ER), so I don't
know how useful it would be.
