A postdoctoral fellowship position is available in the Department of
Microbiology at the University of Iowa to study molecular mechanisms in B
lymphocyte activation. Ongoing projects include: structure-function
analysis of membrane Ig, CD40, and class II MHC as B cell signaling
molecules, examination of the signals involved in membranr Ig-induced
activation vs. tolerance, and how signals regulate the expression of B7
family molecules on B cells.
