FcR/C1q ab binding question

Hi all,
 
A quick question.  Does binding of C1q to ab prevent or compete with binding of
ab to the Fc receptor?  The molecular models imply that there would be stearic
hindrence but I can't seem to find anything that addresses this specific
question.
