Dear immunologists,
happy new year.
Can anyone help me with a question about fMLP and LPS?
I understand that both agents are used as unspecific general purpose cell
activators that induce cells to make a lot of things and that often mimic
the actions of cytokines.
Are there any reasons for using one in preference of the other? Or is fMLP
only a chemotactic activator?
thanks a lot
