limiting dilution

Hello

We have obtained some interesting results by studying the 
precursor frequency against autologous tumour cells under 
different culture conditions. We used the limiting dilution 
technique. We now have some problems deciding what 
statistical approach is to be used.
I would appreciate if somebody could tell me exactly what 
are the state of the art mathematical solutions, and above 
all what software should be used and who is commercialising 
it.
