I haven't read _Fundamental Immunology_ but I also recommend the Abbas book.
We used it to supplement the recommended text - Roitt and wouldn't have
gotten through the course without it. Roitt is author in two immunology
texts: _Essential Immunology_ (Roitt solo) where it's in its 7th edition and
_Immunology_ in its third edition (Roitt, Brostoff and Male).
