I think the most comprehensive and detailed text available for the serious
student of Immunology is
"Fundamental Immunology" by William Paul (Raven Press), 1993.
This marvelous book is rather large and loaded with the wonderful, juicy
details that one desires when inviolved in an in depth study of a
particular aspect of immunity.
I highly recommend it.
