Dr. Beck:
We have just used a book by Janis Kuby called (oddly enough ;-))
Immunology from W.H. Freeman and company that has worked out fairly
well. The second edition came out this year so it is quite up to date.
The best beginner's book I have evr seen is the book by Jan Klein
called "Immunology: The science of self non-self discrimination".
However, the copy I have is quite old and I do not know if a recent
edition was ever released.
For an advanced text, whithout question Williams Pauls book
"Fundamental Immunology" is the best I have seen. The 3rd edition of
this book was just released and I recommend it highly.
