Which cells does HIV infect?

I think that HIV can infect all typs of cells, and not just restricted
to the lymphocytes.
What does a retrovirus nees to do inorder to infect a cell?
it needs to transfect into the genome of the host.
i dont know if you've read the articles on this yet,
but one of the only ways to get into the host genome is to
wait till the host undergoes mitosis. However, HIV also invades cells
that dont divide. They must have some sort of nuclear localization signal
on them since they can also infect the cells of the brain.
