There are several vacancies (Post Doc) at the laboratory for Immunology
located at the University-Hospital in Cologne, Germany
1. Bispecific antibodies in the treatment of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. (3
year grant)
We have developed bispecific antibodies to be used in the therapy of
Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The scientific aspects as the induction of
idiotype reactive T-cells are concerned, are covered by a grant from
the "Deutsche Krebshilfe". Therefore, the applicant should have
substantial experience in cellular Immunology ( T-cell cloning,
practical knowledge on the differentiation of human T-cells etc.).
In addition, the applicant can be involved in the search for new
antibody-strategies (diabodies, Phage-display, etc.).

2. The role of EBV in Hodgkin's Lymphoma (2 year grant)
In order to elucidate the effects of EBV-immunity in Hodgkin's Lymphoma
a position was created to work on the T-cell response to EBV and to the
LMP in HD. The research project is embedded in the German study-group
on Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Here, too, the applicant is supposed to have
practical knowledge in cellular Immunology.
