Post-Doctoral Position in Structural/Molecular Immunology

A three-year MRC-funded position is available, from 1st
October 1995,  to study interactions between soluble T cell
receptors and soluble complexes of MHC molecules with
agonist, partial agonist and antagonist peptides. The
successful candidate will be expected to take part in the
large scale preparation, purification and crystallisation
of  specific MHC:peptide complexes, in the measurement of
interactions between soluble T cell receptors and the
MHC:peptide complexes, primarily by surface plasmon
resonance.  The candidate will also contribute to the
cloning and expression of soluble T cell receptors in
Pichia pastoris. Experience in molecular biology or protein
crystallisation is preferred.

Salary will be in the range £17,690-£19,141 per annum,
inclusive of £2134pa London Weighting.  An annual travel
allowance of £200 is provided.
