Hi,
I wanted to know if any one knows of a reagent that can
selectively convert the c-6 OH -----> COOH (Uronic Acid). I know that one
can use Nitrous acid, but the draw back of this is that is also cleaves
the chain. Are there any enzymes that can convert free c-6 OH specifically
without cleaving the chain ? Any help would be much appreciated.
