immobilizing antibodies, peptides and other biomolecules

Dear Collegues:

I am searching for information regarding biomolecule immobilization to 
inert substrates.  I am interested in learning about the problems 
encountered when conducting immmobilization and the results one may 
expect using different technologies and/or chemistries.  In addition, 
what parameters do you evaluate the success of the immobilized 
biomolecule (i.e.  activity, coupling effeciency)
