Is anyone familiar with the potential role of Neomycin B or the
aminoglycoside family of antibiiotics as a potent blocker of the REV
protein in HIV. I've heard that a physician in Southern Cal is
experimenting with some of these compounds and has seen major drops in
viral load parameters. Are any of these compounds less toxic in terms of
kidney and hearing.
