Transduction delays

Hi!

Does anyone know how long does it take to signal from the membrane to the
nucleus? For instance, suppose you have a cytokine signaling through it's
receptor ("signaling" is, perhaps, not the best term to use, but I hope
you got the general idea) and via the Jak/Stat chain in order to regulate
gene expression; how long does it take to have factors such as jun/fos
start doing their job in the nucleus?
In case you don't know any references pointing towards a reasonable answer,
how do you think one could measure this time?
