Dear Colleagues:
A few years ago, a summer student and I used GammaBind G (GBG, synthetic
protein G, binds to IgG) to enhance the sensitivity of ELISAs about 1000-fold.
He also developed a GBG-urease conjugate that has the potential of detecting
multi-species IgG on the same plate (i.e. one could raise animal sera as a
positive control, then test human sera on the same plate).(The paper was sent
to Immunological Methods and was promptly rejected, no explanation)
Before resubmitting the paper, it dawned on me that as a courtesy I
should first send copies of the papers to the suppliers of GBG. I tried to
contact Xydex (Toronto) and then their parent company Genex Corporations
(Gaithersburg, MD) without any luck. Perhaps they've moved, folded or just
changed their numbers. Does anyone have a lead on how I might reach them?
