Chella David gave a presentation here at Stanford last week. His
group has been developing a mouse model for HLA-B27 mediated disease, partic-
ularly ankylosing spondylitis. He didn't mention T-cell V-beta repertoire
analysis; however he showed some data that suggested that CD4 cells could
be selected on HLA-B27 during thymic education... you might try contacting
him. I realize that rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis are
not exactly the same conditions, but there is some overlap.
Glad to see that this newsgroup has returned to sanity... no more
"cow's milk" questions and the like.
