The Journal of Investigative Medicine (August, 1996) has published a paper
entitled "Peptide Nucleic Acids Stimulate Gamma Interferon and Inhibit
Replication of the Human Immunodeficiency Virus" written by Shalom Z.
Hirschman M.D., Professor of Medicine and Director of the Division of
Infectious Diseases at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York. A
recent press release states that the drug used in this study, Reticulose,
appears to stimulate the immune system to go into a continuous repair mode
to prevent HIV from invading cells. Has anyone read this paper or have any
comments on this finding?
