phosphoprotein antibodies

Many of you will be aware of the successes in the production of
antibodies specific for phosphorylated forms of a protein. I would like
to collect the practical experiences of those who have attempted to use
this technology, both successful and unsuccessful, in an effort to
synthesise a "practical guide to the production of phosphorylation site
specific antibodies to your protein".

I would be keen to hear the identity of the phosphoprotein you studied,
the peptide sequence you employed as the immunogen, the means of
phosphorylation of which residue, means of conjugation and to which
protein, your immunisation protocol, and the characteristics of the
antibodies produced.

Please e-mail your notes to J.COLYER at leeds.ac.uk

I look forward to reading of your successes and failures!
