Multiple Sclerosis: possibly viral?

How much evidence, if any, supports the fact that Multiple Sclerosis
may be caused by a virus?

If it were indeed viral, wouldn't transfussions from those unafflicted,
or those who have had it go into a "deep" remission, deliver the necessary
antigens to fight it, or at least soften the symtoms?
