When we do human T cell cloning we use Mitomycin C instead of
irradiation. One of our students found that the conc of mitomycin C req
uired to stop proliferation varied depending on the cell type so he did
at titration followed by a thymidine uptake assay to check which was the
most suitable concentration to completely arrest cell growth - why don't
you try this with radiation dose?
