I have read and understand your problem. I'm an RN, self employed working
with medical databases. This has brought me in contact with attorneys. I
see a few areas that if you comply with their "requests" the repercussions
would affect your employers as well as you "if and when" these studies
are exposed to contain falsified non-reproducable results form your data.
I can only say that let your conscious be your guide. There have been
this "type" of studies submitted to the FDA by HUGE corporations and have
been found to be either containing false data or biasis results. All of
which had effected negatively on the health of the "patients" that
recieved the "product". Those cases are in multiple trials with more to
come.
I recommend for your protection to maintain copies of "ALL" communication
with your superiors and a legal contact outside and NOT in any associated
with the company your employed with.
