Hello, everyone:
I am a post-doctoral fellow in Kansas University Medical Center. I am
working with thioglycollate-elicited mouse peritoneal macrophages. I
found that, when I used the TRI-zol reagent (GIBCO.BRL) to extract RNA, I
could not have the RNA pellet dissolved in water, probably because of
high levels of carbohydrates associated with the RNA. Does anyone have
other ideas to extract RNA from this type of cells?
Please e-mail your response to: xzhang at kumc.edu
Thanks.
