Hi Becky,
Christina is right. There is no such animal as a single book to answer
all your questions. If you can limit yourself to a half dozen major
books, consider yourself lucky.
The huge Dutch publisher Elsevier has a series of almost 100 books
called "Laboratory Techniques in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology".
There is one called "Practice and Theory of Enzyme Immunoassays"
written or edited by a P. Tijssen. I haven't read this particular
volume but the other books in this series have been very good. The
ISBN number is
0-444-80633-4 You can purchase this through Sigma Chemical (who
else?). I've seen several 4 year colleges (at least in California)
that often have the entire Elsevier series on their shelves although
some may not have the latest editions of several of the volumes.
