I have recently cloned a plant cDNA in an expression vector (pET29)and
have successfully expressed it. I am interested in making antibody for
the protein. However, the protein I have is fused to 29aa on the
N-terminal. Among this 29aa-16aa in the N-terminal is part of
Ribonuclease-S which has been helpful for me in confirming the fusion
protein.
My question is if I was to use the whole fusion protein with the 29aa
would I have problems getting antibody against the peptide of my
interest, which is approx 28 kD in size.
