I noticed that David James Neece wrote that there were
11 blood types for dogs. I had been told by a vet and by
a vet's assistant (in a different practice) that there were
26 blood groups for dogs. Now I'm beginning to wonder.
David N. said that his reference might be dated; would
someone mind letting me know just how many blood
groups there really are for dogs? I checked the four
references I have, and none of them specify the number.
