I want to freeze dry antibodies (particularly in plasma from people
with autoimmune diseases), as a means of long term storage. In my
attempts so far I have frequently seen a significant drop in titre
either immediately upon freeze drying or after a couple of months
storage at 2-8 degrees C.
Does anybody have any experience of successfully freeze drying
antibodies, and if so any advice on suitable protocols, additives to
enhance stability etc. would be very welcome.
Thanks
Dave
