I guess you mean Morbilli virus. It is a single stranded negative sense
RNA virus in the family Paramyxoviridae. Measles is a morbilli virus, but
I guess you are more interested in the equine morbilli virus outbreak in
Australia last year where there were a couple (only) of human deaths. The
equine morbilli virus was originally found in a few horses, but their
trainer contracted a severe viral pneumonia and died from it (a stablehand
recovered). A second death was more recent - the victim was the husband of
a vet, so both cases were associated with contact with horses. Prior to
these outbreaks this virus was unknown (these were the first cases).
I don't have much more information on this particular virus I'm afraid,
