                  BASIC HYPOTHESIS RESTATED

In thinking about my several postings and numerous replies
thereto, I have been focusing upon what is most basic to my
hypothesis, which is hereby restated.

Teresa's S/O and G/O Hypothesis:

I. The biological substrates of human sexual-orientation and
gender-orientation occur within immunological tissues of the
nasal mucosa and epidermis.

II. These tissues manifest a person's S/O and G/O in
response to (i) certain sexually significant chemo-signal
(sscs) molecules from other organisms of the same species,
(ii) the person's own immunological profile of self
antigens, and (iii) the person's immunological ability to
detect, interpret, and respond to not-self sscs molecules, and (iv) the
person's ability to create, emit, and perceive his or her own sscs
molecules.

III. In many but possibly not all cases, alternative sexual-
and gender-orientations are the result of immunological
processes that affect domains (i), (ii), (iii) and/or (iv) in the
prior paragraph.
