I am currently on a development project involving the analysis of
hemoglobin phenomena. The data acquisition occurs via an A/D circuit
board interfacing an IBM compatible PC with the Hemox Analyzer
manufactured by TCS Scientific Corporation (http:\\tcssci.com). The
software is 32 bit Visual Basic running on Windows 95 or Windows NT.
The software currently plots the oxygen equilibrium curve in real time
while displaying the estimated p50 and log pO2. After the test has been
completed, the actual p50 (and other pX values are possible) is
calculated. Additionally the Hill Curve, Hill Number, Hill Derivative
and Adair Constants with convergence is calculated.
If you have any further suggestions or calculations on how to develop
the best possible hemoglobin analysis package, I would appreciate an
email to vreilly at tcssci.com.
Thank you for your consideration of this project. Please do not
hesitate to contact me if you have further questions regarding this
project or the Hemox Analyzer.
