There are many methods to enrich for or purify CD4 cells. Panning is a
great method though magenetic methods give better purity. A first step
is having Anti CD8, Anti B220, And anti Mac-1. Incubating lymph node or
spleen cells with a cocktail of all 3 then plating washed cell
suspension on an appropriate Anti Antibody pan will greatly increase
the % of CD4 cells
