I'm trying to find manfacturers/distributors of fluorescent immunoassay
kits (any analyte would do, but environmental toxins would be especially
interesting). A search of the web turned up plenty of ELISAs and RIAs,
but no FIAs - other than fluorescent-labelled secondary antibodies for
immunocytology, which isn't quite the same thing. Why is that? Have
FIAs gone out of fashion? If so, who buys all the fluorescence microplate
readers that are on the market?
