Dear All,
As I am sure many of you know, the internal defense system of the pond
snail _Lymnaea stagnalis_ has been used as a model system for the
investigation of the invertebrate IDS. One of the main cellular
mechanisms of defense in the snail IDS appears to be the circulating
hemocyte. I was wondering if anyone knows the longevity of snail
circulating hemocytes? Any citations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
