I have noted that the size of granulocytes approximately doubles in full
blood after incubation with lipopolysaccharide (LPS). I'm working with
unfixed, unlysed samples analysed by flow cytometry.
Is this dramatic increase in size due to phagocytosis of immune
complexes? Is this a normal observation?
