affinity purification with phage antibodies

Hello dear immunology friends,

As I recently prepared phage antibodies to the membrane protein FAT (fatty 
acid translocase, also known as CD36)(Pelsers et al. Biochem J. 1999) I was 
wondering if anyone ever tried to make an affinity colum with phages. Is it 
possible to take a Cn-Br activated colum an bind phage to it so that we can 
isolate the FAT from rat hart homogenates ??
