Even if L-glutamine is added to the medium by the manufacturer, it is
unstable and has a short half life. Nothing wrong with adding this to the
medium. The pyruvate and 2-ME may or may not be added and will depend
entirely on how you cells grow with or without these additives. You'll
have to experiment.
