I have a question concerning the culture of macrophages. I've started to
culture murine macrophages by taking stem cells from the bone marrow of
mice and treating with GM-CSF for 4 days. The cells appear to differentiate
into a macrophage-like state. I was wondering if anyone knew what surface
markers these cells may express. I was thinking of staining for Mac-1,
class I, and class II. Just looking for markers I can use to characterize
these cells. Thank you in advance.
