Hi,
I am post doc working on cytokine detection using immunohistochemical
techniques in the human central nervous system. We recently found a very
nice signal using a mouse anti human interleukin-1 receptor antagonist
(IL-1RA) antibody kindly provided by Immunex (Seattle, USA).
Unfortunately we ran out of antibody and we did not yet finish the study.
Immunex can not provide us with additional shipments of this antibody. It
is marked by Immunex as M5.
Questions:
1. Does anyone have any M5 (mouse anti human IL-1RA) left in the freezer
for us to finish our study, or
2. Does anyone have experience with another anti-IL-1RA antibody which
stains IL-1RA in formalin-fixed paraffin embedded tissue.
In return I will be happy and if usefull I can give aliquots or names of
other cytokine antibodies that are useful for immunocytochemistry.
