POST-DOCTORAL POSITION IN IMMUNOLOGY

UNIVERSITY OF GUELPH, ONTARIO, CANADA.

This laboratory has a longstanding interest in genetic regulation of 
immune responses in domestic animals. Areas of emphasis include: The 
influence of MHC and background genes on antibody and cell-mediated 
immunity. Genetic selection for enhanced immune response and disease 
resistance. Genetic modification of swine for use in xenotransplantation. 

Suitable candidates would have expertise in cellular and molecular 
immunology, and experience in handling domestic animals. Good 
communication and organizational skills are essential. 

Salary compensation is highly competitive and will reflect the level of 
experience of the candidate.
