I am a student and am doing some research on SCID. I was wondering if
you could send me information on that disease. The information could
include the following: Is it a disease passed down from the parent or
do you all of a sudden just get it? Does it affect the length of your
life and if so how many more years do you get to live? Is there any
recent studies that have helped cure the disease? How old are the
patients that get SCID? Is the device of the plastic bubble still used
today? Is there any other way to be alive and be in a germ free
environment? What kind of problems are there involved? Such as
emotional, physical, psychological... Also could you send me the
addresses of the people who have SCID or the parents of kids who have
