*Does the TUNEL reaction really differentiates apoptosis and necrosis
*After phagocytosis of facultative intracellular bacteria by macrophages,
some bacteria get killed by the marcophages, some can survive intracellular.
On the other hand some macrophages survive, some undergo apoptosis, some
necrose.
Can the techniques used to demonstrate apoptosis make a distinction between
'apoptotic' cells and killed intracellular bacteria ?
Which technique would you recommend to make this distinction ?
