I am writing an article on the "possible" benefits of producing monoclonal
antibodies in vitro versus ascites production in animals.
Apart from the major point of sparing the animals the agony, I am also
focusing on the quality issue.
The information I have got so far indicates in vitro produces a more
homogenous mAbs, probably due to the abscencse of enzymes which are present
in the animals abdomen.
If you can contribute to this topic, please send me an e-mail or post it to
the
group.
Thanks,
