Dear Colleagues,
We are presently dosing the circulating (serum or plasma) levels of
Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF, so-called vasculotropin), using
ELISA-based kits from R+D Systems (Abingdon, UK) in serum/plasma of
patients with different tropical pathologies. Unfortunately, in opposition
with other soluble adhesion molecules, cytokines, etc..., there is no
indication in the technical booklet of normal values for VEGF.
Does anybody know which expected values of VEGF can be found in control
sera, that is from apparently healthy people ?
