Research Scholarships (National University of Singapore)
We currently have a number of competitive research scholarship openings
in our laboratories. You are welcome to visit the University's website

a number of research projects. These include projects on:
1. Epidemiology of childhood asthma and allergies in Singapore - 2
projects
2. Biological and control studies on house dust mites - 2 projects
3. Immunochemical and molecular characterisation of tropical pollen
and spore allergens - 2 projects
4. Aerobiology of the Singapore environment - 1 project
5. Image analysis of spores and pollen in the Singapore environment
- 1 project
6. Catalogue of the expressed genes of the major allergen producing
dust mite - 1 project

Most of our research students on scholarship get a stipend of approx.
S$1,400 per month tax free. They will also get subsidised for fees.
Additionally, either part-time demonstration or part-time lab work are
available. A MSc candidate works for approx. 2-2 1/2 years while a PhD
candidate takes between 3 - 3 1/2 years. You could check out this site
