Janeway has many errors and even the most recent edition is not very
updated. It all depends on why you are self-teaching. If you want very
elementary, easy pics, sacrifice current knowledge, then use Janeway.
If you want complete, complex, up-to-date information use the 1999
edition of Paul. If you want quick facts, similar to what med students
use to gain a broad range of shallow facts, then use Abbas-- Cellular
and Molecular Immunology.
